Can I create News Feed, Build Corporate Social Media on Employee Center

Hello,

This post is related to the Employee Center Pro application capabilities. for someone who has worked in this area in the past can you share details if I can do the following to build my Internal employees News Feed and internal social media for our corporate?


For News Feed, can we do the below?

1. Feed item  - Force read item to employees

2. Have a  Video publishing capability

3. Photo / Asset Library

 

Social Media - does EC Pro come with OOTB Internal Social Media comms including moderation capabilities

 

Is this lot of customization??

In 2023 Q2 Employee Center roadmap presentation, I saw "Personalized Employee News" is OOTB feature come with Employee Center Pro. But I haven't tried this.

Inform and engage employees with a personalized Employee News experience.

  • Employee News experience with a dedicated News Center page, New Article view page, and News Feed widgets
  • Integrated with Rich Content Editor to enable easy drag and drop News Article authoring
  • Efficient News article publishing (enhancements and automation around the publishing flow)
  • Governance, targeting, scheduling, ownership, and translations supported natively

Note: Only available in the portal view(standalone & embedded in teams)

@Sarda702 , Using the Content Library, you can create video content to appear on the employee portal.

 

Video URL: The link to the video you want to appear as content Only YouTube and Vimeo videos are supported at this time. Make sure you use the embedded video link. You can add videos that are already published in the rich content editor for creating the news article body, below the featured news, or below the popular topics.

I don't have an idea of the photo library's capabilities.
