I have a request to hide a topic in the mega menu and instead link to it using an html button on the page. Is this possible to do OOB? Thanks.

Hi there,
Yes, you can for example remove the parent field on the topic itself (ofcourse while testing it might not reflect immediately, known cashing with the employee center header!). Opening the topic directly through sys_id would still work.
I don't know if the breadcrumb still works fine then 🤔
Kind regards,

When you say "remove the parent field on the topic itself" do you mean leaving the 'parent_topic' field blank? If that's what you mean then that just makes the topic a parent topic in the mega menu. I do want this to be a parent topic I just don't want it in the mega menu. Can you please clarify further?

@Sysop The easiest way to achieve this OOB is by using Advanced Portal Navigation.

You can mark the Mega menu elements as inactive and they'll not appear on the Menu.
