Can we keep the search specific for a certain section?

Hello All,

In the service portal, under the knowledge page, there is a search field to search only for knowledge articles. Under the service catalog page, there is a search field to only search for the catalog items. 

However, when we are using the search field on the topics page, we are getting results for both catalog and knowledge. Is it possible to keep the show the search result only from catalogs. 

We tried adding the same search field used in service portal in the knowledge home page, it is showing results from main search which includes catalog items and knowledge. How do we restrict this to only knowledge.

If you go to service portals > Portals> open your portal record  and scroll down and look for search sources, remove the  record not required.
