Code to calculate count on button click on the ESC Portal

Hi All,

I have created a widget with three action buttons, 

I would like to know the code to calculate the number of times users click on the action button "escalate" on the ESC Portal.

Attached is the Portal action buttons screenshot.

I have created a field on the Incident form by the name 'u_escalation_counter' of type Integer.
