Employee Center Menu is no longer visible on top navigation bar after upgrading the plugin

Hi,

We have upgraded employee center to 39.0.8 and SN instance to Zurich. After upgrades, we no longer see the top navigation bar. I see that top and side style navigation bars are introduced, I have changed ours to top, still the navigation menu and get support are missing on the top. Please assist.

In case you didn't get an answer, I think I may have it.  Part of the solution is what SumanthDosapati posted, but I discovered you need to go further.

1. In the Menu Items related list in the Advanced Portal Navigation - make sure they are active. 

2. Navigate to Service Portal Menus and select the menu your employee center is using (OOTB is employee Center Menu) and open it.

3. In the related list Menu Items, make sure the menus are active.  I found mine were not, once I activated them, they showed up in Employee Center.
