Hi All
I copied the employee taxonomy and created a "test" Topic & Child Topic. When I listed this topic initially only the Test Topic was visible. When I set that topic as Active = false, Now only its parent IT topic seems to be possible.
I have checked the original Technology services taxonomy which is the Parent of the IT for IT Topic where I originally put test. My copied Topic and child topic set up is now exactly the same, but for some reason the child topics are not visible:
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
I've read up and checked Connected Content, Child Topics, Active settings etc but cant seem to find the reason for this. I have set my test Child topic to false:

Topics have to be active and have active content connected to them to be visible. Make sure any catalog items/knowledge articles/quick links are also active.
Taxonomy Topics are cached to improve performance. I often find I have to impersonate another user to see any changes to the topics themselves, such as activating them, adding banners, etc. If the topic is already visible to me and I connect connect, the content is visible right away, its just creating/activating new topics that don't show up until I impersonate someone.

Thanks @Sabrina Ethridg I tried impersonating but the Mega Menu still operates as before.
Ill check all the other aspects but I'm sure it is all active

This worked. For anyone reading what I had was Child Topics active so I thought this was already set up correctly. But those Child Topics had no e.g Connected Content, thus they where technically "empty".
I added a random Cat Item to the Hardware Topic which is under Technology Services Topic and the topic became visible:
