Hello,
I have recently gotten an error when impersonating certain users in the ServiceNow instance that I manage.
On a catalog item, when clicking a PDF attachment link, they are redirected to a window with an error "Requested attachment not available.". The attachment is linked correctly on the cat item, checked both in DEV and PROD the attachment has no mismatches.
On community, I have only found the error "Requested attachment does not exist". I have checked and the attachment is fully present in both sys_attachment and sys_attachment_doc tables, and for many other users it is possible to download the file, only for some users no.
In the DEV environment, I could download the files while impersonating with them, checked if there's any sys ID mismatch, nothing is wrong there. Same goes for roles. One user is ITIL and the other is an end user, and they both get the same error.
Checked ACLs as well, nothing that could cause that.
Caching does not seems to be an issue seems it happened in different browsers. Cached was deleted and all.
Checked logs, there is no log related to this error.
In the URL bar, the link is the same link that was added for the attachment in the catalog item. For me and many other users, it works without issues, from admin to end user.
If this question was already asked in the community, please let me know, as I have not found it yet.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi @Ciobanski ,
This is working as expected, you need to double check ACLs on the "sys_attachment" table
I could reproduce this
Sample user : Role - Just "snc_external"
getting below error:
Error:
When i checked the Access controls using Access Analyzer, Read is blocked for this user
you can click on the read and analyze what's blocking and update access control accordingly, test thoroughly!
After i made an update to one of the access controls, i can download the attachment successfully

Hope this helps if so,
Thank you,
