Esc taxonomy - Create Incident Item

Hi All

 

I need to design taxonomy for esc portal and I have doubts about where to position the "Create Incident" item. 

 

What is the best approach? As a child of a Topic, quick links, or something else? 

 

I know it depends on the context, but I'd like to understand the pros and cons of the different options.

Can anyone share their experience?

I put it under Technology Services - Quick Link

Here is how I did it

  1. Opened Employee Center - Quick Links
    found the report incident, it was half mapped?

  2. Opened this and made the following changes
    1. Content - Catalog Item
    2. Quick Link Name - Report IT issue
    3. Title - Report IT issue
    4. Catalog Item - Create Incident
    5. Active - true
    6. Domain - global
    7. Assigned Topics - Quick Link: Report IT issue
    8. Navigation - Employee Center / Technology Services
  3. Back to Advanced Portal Navigation, click on the word TRUE
  4. Opened the menu for Technology Services
  5. Quick Links
  6. New
  7. added the Report IT services

Then sync'd
