I would like to know if there is a way to hide the Virtual Agent icon in our Employee Service Center (ESC) portal for a specific role. Currently, we can display the Virtual Agent icon based on role permissions, but my requirement is to hide it based on certain roles.
I found a community article suggesting that this could be achieved, but we have enabled the Virtual Agent via **Service Portal > Agent Chat**, which does not have the "Can Read" or "Cannot Read" related lists. Could you please suggest a method to achieve this on our instance?
For reference, here is the community link: [Displaying Virtual Agent Widget Depending on User Properties](https://www.servicenow.com/community/virtual-agent-nlu-articles/displaying-virtual-agent-widget-depe...).

Hi there,
Since you mention Agent Chat configuration:
For Agent Chat configuration you can make it visible for certain roles. Though there's not an option to exclude certain roles.
Kind regards,
