Hi,
We have a knowledgebase restricted to read only for ITIL users. Noone else can view. This knowledge base is not one of the ones added to the Employee Center in the Service Portal Settings.
However, the functionality happening is that in the ESC the ITIL users can find those articles via search but then when they click on them it says "You do not have sufficient privileges to access this knowledge item". The ITIL users CAN see the full articles in the knowledge base.
I do not want that knowledge base searchable through the ESC at all. Even though the ITIL users technically have access, I want the ESC search to only contain 'anyone can read' items to limit confusion. It's simply messy right now. I still want that KB available through the knowledge base and searchable through the related search results when creating an incident etc.
Any tips on how I can remove the visibility from the ESC would be appreciated!

@Zack9 ,
Are you using AI search or are you using normal zing search with configurations on the portal record.
Can you please add more details.
Thanks,
