How to auto hide Support Resources widget on Topic template, when no connected items are linked to

Hi,

I'm looking for a way, how I can hide the Support resources widget on the default topic template page when there are no connected items linked to it. Anyone have some ideas how to do this? I have seen some companies have managed that.

Thank you.

Hi Alex,

I am also looking to hide Support resources from the topic.

Please let me know if you have any workaround.

Thank you,

Rahul

Same here! We have some pages that just have rich content for microsite info, but not related articles so that section is unnecessary. It being non-visible if anything related is empty would be great.

Hi there, anyone from the community knows how to do this? On Eric Hemmer SIG meetings, there was a customer (i think it was Nascar) who managed to hide it on the OOTB topic page.

@Alex87 @KMeisch Support Resources is the default name we give the widget. This widget contains your connected content for that topic. It also provides navigation options.

I would be interested to know how you have this widget appearing with no content? OOTB behaviour for topics is that if there is no connected content, that the topic will not render in the Mega Menu.

If you have created a new topic template for example, and you don't plan to connect content to it, then you can look at just removing the widget from that template.

From your screenshot, it appears you are not using the provided OOTB template (OOTB does not have paragraphs of text)
