How to remove topic from title bar in Employee Center

Hello,

I am curious how I remove a topic from the title bar in the employee center. I am beginning to migrate our service portal to employee center. I added a few topics including a topic called "Technical Support" and no other topic but "Technical Support" is showing on the title bar. See attached screenshot. I thought it would be a simple fix but I'm clearly missing something.

If you are using taxonomy you can edit the mega menu. https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/tokyo-employee-service-management/page/product/employee-cen... Best practice is to copy the OOTB Employee Taxonomy and then make your configurations. Hope that helps.

Hi there,

Only Topics are shown, which contain Connected Content (Catalog Item, Knowledge Article, etc). Have you added Content to all those other Topics?

Also be aware, that you might see that when live testing and refreshing your browser, new Topics don't show up... though after logout/login they do.

If you want to remove Topics from the Submenu header... Can I ask what's the reason for that? You did setup the Topic (including nested topics, connected content, etc) with a reason? You could remove the Topic from the Taxonomy? Though what's the purpose of the Topic created then?

Kind regards,
Mark

I discovered that logout/login helps in situations when new menu Topics don't show up or don't go away.  It is something that does not appear to be documented anywhere.
