Job start date

Hi community,

I'm working on New hire onboarding, In lifecycle event of new hire onboarding there are activity sets. They are, 

pre-hire, pre-boarding, day 1, week 1 and day 30. Problem here is, Before completion of pre-hire and pre-boarding 

2 activities in day 1 got completed.

Week 1 and day 30 are also got triggered. I guess all these are happening because of Employment start date.

Is Employment start date and Job start are similar or different?

How to over come these problems ?

Can anyone help me?

You will have to check the Trigger conditions on the Activity Sets.

So, now let's understand Job Start date and Employement start date:

For example, the following HR profile record is for Eva Seahorn. Eva was first hired as a UX designer in May 2017. In August 2018, Eva left the company. In June 2019, Eva was rehired as a marketing director. Eva has two associated job records, with the marketing director position as Eva's primary job.

• In the Employment Information related list, information about the primary job is displayed.
• In the Jobs related list, all of the associated job records are displayed.

Note: The employment start date represents the first day the user was employed with the organization. The job start date represents the first day of the user's current primary job. Because Eva left the organization in August 2018, but was rehired in June 2019. This represents Eva's new employment start date.

Employement Start Date is the date when the Employee actually starts in a company.

But The trigger conditions in the Activity sets are proper I guess. Please check the below pictures

Please replace job start to "employment start date" wherever you have used.
