Need to set the visibility restriction on the topic based on the user roles on the EC

Hi All, 

 

Having a requirement that,

The newly created topic needs to be restricted the visibility on the Employee center portal to only the set of users based on the role or groups that he is part of. 

 

As we are trying first time to explore the Employee center portal. Need suggestion on the visibility restriction.

What version of ServiceNow are you currently using?

Verify whether these fields exist in the dictionary:

Navigate to System Definition > Dictionary

If it exists you can add to the form layout

Hi

@tippireddip 

You can enable user criteria for topics

Navigate to Content Taxonomy -> Topics

Select the topic and enable user criteria check

Update available for / not available for fields

Hi @Shruti   thank you for the prompt response.

But I don't have this option on the topic page. 

Even searched the form layout also I didn't find. 

If possible can you guide me how to get this. 

If I'm searching in a different path please correct me.

Thank you for the reply. 

 

I got the solution, this field will be available on the instance of Yokohama releases. 

As currently i'm on Xanadu version so its not there.
