org_chart Page Search doesn't show all employees

Hi all,

The Search on the org_chart Page in our Employee Center doesn't.... search. It shows some employees and not others and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I can't even find where the configuration or options for that search is or where I should look to troubleshoot.

Any ideas or guidance?

Thanks!

Hello @CCSF-Syd

  • To meet your requirement, navigate to the sn_cd_user_display_configuration table.

  • Open the record to access the configuration settings for the Org Chart.

  • By default, the setup requires the Employment Start Date field in the HR Profile table to be populated.

  • Ensure that users who are not visible in the Org Chart have a valid Employment Start Date.

  • Additionally, the Offset in Days field determines how many days before or after the Employment Start Date a user will appear in the Org Chart.

To configure the information displayed on the Org Chart, navigate to the sn_cd_config_org_chart table.

Hope this helps!

actually, it looks like I was using the org_chart page and not the newer my_org_chart page

@CCSF-Syd

  • Yes, the org_chart page is the older version, while my_org_chart is the newer version in Employee Center.
  • The newer my_org_chart page may have different configurations.
  • If you're seeing differences in search results or visibility, you might want to check the sn_cd_user_display_configuration and sn_cd_config_org_chart tables to ensure they are set up correctly for your requirements.

Hope this helps!
