Hello
We are doing a migration from SP to ESC for a client, and I have a requirement related to topic pages. The client wants to keep the SC Categories and SC Category Page widgets as they prefer the filtering as opposed to the Topic Content widget.
To replace the topic content with the SC widgets was no problem, and the topic page looks fine. My problem is that if I click on one of the catalogs or categories, it redirects me from the emp_taxonomy_topic page to sc_category in the url. This causes the Topic Header to dissappear.
Does anyone have experience with altering the Topic pages to reflect a filtering that does the same as SC Categories and SC Category Page?

Hey @Vikram Kee Dam2
I honestly would strongly advise against what you are trying to do. The purpose of the EC is to merge catalog and knowledge categories into a single curated taxonomy. So trying to get back to SC categories will inherently break the EC as it won't be able to filter knowledge content.
If the requirement is to be able to filter based on categories, you may look instead at enabling search facets in EC, which would allow you to have a similar feel as the old catalog navigation. Here is more info on doing that: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-employee-service-management/page/product/employee-ce...
Hope this helps!

Hello Nick and thank you for your reply.
I think you're right and I already has a discussion with the client to 'let the past go'. The facets is a nice idea, we want to promote searching on the portal as much as possible anyway.
Thanks again!
