Search widget to search only knowledge articles in ESC

Hi Everyone, 

We want to include a search widget in the page esc_knowledge_home of the employee center, we want to restrict the search to the knowledge articles or knowledge bases which have been set in the related list of portal page. 

Is there a widget like that, tried widgets "KB Search", but it's searching for catalog items as well. Please suggest

Hi @Harsha Pappala 

To config the seach in ESC portal, you need to config search source for this.

To do this you need to navigate table 'm2m_sp_portal_search_source' and create a record as below

Post this give a try in portal, you can see result like below,

Thanks for the reply, but we are using the AI search for the portal and the search sources are connected through the search application configuration. 

The search sources here are for both catalogs and knowledge articles for the global/main search in the employee center. I am trying a add a new widget in knowledge page, which would be able to search only knowledge.

Hi Harsha,

Try adding the Typeahead Search widget which has an option to specify the search sources:

Probably the easiest way to access this is to ctrl+right click on the widget in the portal view:
