Service Catalog breadcrumb is not working in Service catalog homepage

Hi All,

We have configured the Taxonomy topics and sub topics and associated with catalog items.

Now we want to configure the Service Catalog home page to display the Taxonomy topics and child topics.

I configured the Categories in catalog homepage by adding widget for each category.

Now when I visit catalog item from Service catalog homepage i.e Service catalog> CategoryA> SubCategoryB> Catalog Item,

Above is displayed as breadcrumbs and all the breadcrumbs works except Service Catalog.

When Service Catalog breadcrumb is clicked I am getting 'Page not Found'.

Breadcrumb is redirecting to the below link:

catalog_home.do.do?sysparm_catalog=e0d08b13c3330100c8b837659bba8fb4@99@sysparm_catalog_view=catalog_default@99@sysparm_view=catalog_default@99@v=1

Service Catalog module is configured as below: (Nothing changed from OOB cofig)

Please suggest, how to fix this issue!

Hi @Talya ,

So the Service Catalog is not really where you see the results of Taxonomy. Think of the above screenshot, as your Service Catalog in your backend UI.

Topics and Taxonomy for Employee Center are for your users to view in a front end UI like Employee Center.

So if you want to see the results of your Taxonomy and topics you have created, you would want to navigate to <instancename>/esc

Assuming you have configured/using OOTB.

Hi @Dan O Connor , We have configured Employee center and customer wants the Service Catalog page to display the Topic and child topics only instead of the screenshot that I shared.

So I want to know how to make such changes.

Yeah so that is just how Employee Center works. If you have setup a Taxonomy, Topics and populated them with connected content you should see it.
