Service Catalog breadcrumb is not working in Service catalog homepage

Hi All,

We have configured the Taxonomy topics and sub topics and associated with catalog items.

Now we want to configure the Service Catalog home page to display the Taxonomy topics and child topics.

I configured the Categories in catalog homepage by adding widget for each category.

Now when I visit catalog item from Service catalog homepage i.e Service catalog> CategoryA> SubCategoryB> Catalog Item,

Above is displayed as breadcrumbs and all the breadcrumbs works except Service Catalog.

When Service Catalog breadcrumb is clicked I am getting 'Page not Found'.

Breadcrumb is redirecting to the below link:

catalog_home.do.do?sysparm_catalog=e0d08b13c3330100c8b837659bba8fb4@99@sysparm_catalog_view=catalog_default@99@sysparm_view=catalog_default@99@v=1

 

Service Catalog module is configured as below: (Nothing changed from OOB cofig)

Please suggest, how to fix this issue!

@Talya Sorry but I'm pretty confused with what you are doing here.

When you say you configured widgets? As in on the Service Catalog view through the platform? That is just adding a new tile with a category definition. Items you then add to that category will then display.

 

Not sure though why you are working on that, when originally you were talking about Employee Center? They are two distinctly different UI's, and Service Catalog has become somewhat legacy with the advent of Service Portals and Employee Center.

 

So you need to configure Service Catalog as you have users that make requests through the primary platform UI?

Hi @Dan O Connor , Sorry for creating confusion.

I am asking only about Service Catalog in platform UI here.

First customer wanted to add Topics and Sub topics in Service Catalog platform UI. We have created Category and Sub category structure similar to Topic and child topics. 

So now that issue is sorted.

We configure Service Catalog page (in platform) by just adding widget and adding categories and subcategories.

Here when clicked on Service Catalog breadcrumb, I am getting Page not found error, as per screenshots shared above. 

We have not made any changes , just added our categories and subcategories to Service Catalog page.

 

Can you suggest what needs to be fixed here.
