Using Test Management with Templates or Reusing Tests

Hello,

we encountered a simple requirement from a customer that seems very difficult to do in SN Test Management 2.0.

The requirement is to be able to have templates for Test steps, or Re-use Test or Test sets for incoming Stories, that change specific functionality.

It makes sense, considering story in one area can require same set of test steps, and would save lot of time being able to re-use them.

However from the documentation and the way the functionality is structured, I haven't found a way to achieve this. In Agile Testing, there is no way to have Templates for the Test steps. And when attempting to load an already existing test, it overrides its result, which can be valid elsewhere.

Am I missing something? This seems like a basic functionality and im not sure how to achieve this.

It would be awesome if this can get some traction because my team is looking for the same thing: reusable Test Management 2.0 Test Templates, as well as a simple way to copy tests that already exists.

What we ended up finding is that the Tests and Test Sets can be Reusable, you just need to look at the "Test Result" table. In some tables - related lists, you can see values from this table that then makes them valid, but you need to be careful where the data comes from.
