EC Pro Events vs. Company Event vs. Calendar

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the EC Pro Events, Company Events, and Calendar content? I've tried to search for documentation, but haven't been able to locate anything.

Events

• Can include: Event start and end date and time, details about event including image, links, and text
• Common use case: Promote upcoming events that allow the employee to review details and add to their calendar
• OOB widget used in: Upcoming Events (CD)
• Example:

Calendar

• Can include: Title, Schedule (i.e., Calendar event name and date)
  • No option to give times, expand for more details or add individual dates to calendar
• Common use case: Display a defined Schedule within ServiceNow (e.g., observed company holidays for the year)
• OOB widget used in: Event Calendar (CD)
• Example:

Company Event

• Can include: Start and end date and time, location, headlines, images, text/content
  • Ability to require RSVP, categorize for employees to filter on later, allow different engagement types (e.g., comments, reactions, view counts)
• Common use case: Promote events via dedicated widget and pages for company events; tend to be geared more from a corporate communications lens.
