In recently introduced EAW Version 4.0.1,
Business Capabilities Hierarchy and Application Rationalization Page have a "Filter" icon introduced at the right pane of the List view. However upon clicking on the filter icon, there are no operators, filter conditions are displayed to make use of.
It seems to be very useful feature to apply filters across the list but doesn't seem to be working at all.
Has anyone else also experienced this?

Hi Harshad 👋 — thanks for bringing this up. I’ve actually seen the same issue happen with Enterprise Architecture Workspace (EAW) v4.0.1 in a couple of environments. Here’s what’s probably going on and how you can fix it:
📌 Why it’s happening:
The new Filter icon in the Business Capabilities Hierarchy and Application Rationalization pages depends on a Filter Configuration being linked to the list component in UI Builder.
If no filter config is attached, the filter button shows up, but when you click it — no operators or conditions appear. This was an issue in a couple of early 4.0.x versions too.
✅ What to check:
1️⃣ Open UI Builder and go to your EA Workspace record page where the issue happens (likely ea_business_capability_hierarchy or ea_application_rationalization)
2️⃣ Select the list component on the page
3️⃣ In the Properties panel, check if a Filter Configuration is assigned.
👉 If it’s empty, either pick an existing one or create a new Filter Configuration for that table.
4️⃣ Test if the table allows filtering by trying it in a standard list view or a regular Workspace list component first — just to confirm filtering works there.
📖 Quick note:
In a couple of customer instances I worked on, these pages shipped without a default filter config attached — so you just had to hook one up manually.
✅ Summary:
If the filter panel is empty → it’s likely missing a Filter Configuration
Assign one in UI Builder, or create a new one for your table
Republish your changes — and it should start working!
Hope this helps Harshad! If it sorts out your issue, would be awesome if you could give this a 👍 or mark it helpful so others can find it too. Happy configuring! 🚀

Hi,
It turned out to be known issue that team is working to fix it. I will update this thread once I know exact which version the fix will be available.
Thank you for pointing it out this issue.
