I hope someone can guide me throught this. I am currently working on an APM implementation and arrived at the point where I need to schedule the Assessments. Our requirement is to generate the assessments on Business Value & Technical Risk (OOTB Types & Categories) on either every quarter or twice a year (half of the year), starting in 2024. The assessors will have a window 20 days to respond once the assessments are generated and send to them.
Looking at the scheduled Job and the requirements above (also at the 20-day response time), what would be the right approach for each (quarter/half year)?

Ok, I think I figured this out.
The scheduled job on the Assessment Metric Type is the job that will trigger the assessment. Here is where I will need to set the schedule. Unfortunately there is no Trigger Type: 'Run Quarterly' to trigger this Job, so I will have to set it manually.
I will set the Next Action on 08-01-2024 and use the Schedule Type: Repeat. To trigger Quarterly I will have set the Days: to 91 (on a 24h calendar). Using this schedule will have the following trigger dates (starting in Jan 2024):
08-01-2024, 08-04-2024, 08-07-2024, 07-10-2024
06-01-2025, 07-04-2025,....... ,..........,.............
I think that this approach will fulfill our needs.
Hi Doron, thanks for your response. I also noticed this Frequency field.
What I can't get my head around is how the Frequency on the APM indicator relates to the Scheduled Job on the Assessment Metric Type and how I can determine on which day the scheduled assessment will exactly be send out.
Accoring to the documentation the Frequency field on the indicator form determines the interval at which the data for the indicator source should be collected. This field does not trigger any assessments according to this description.
I need to be able to guarantee that it will be triggered and on which day (based on the configuration (assessment duration). Can you help me with this?
