Recently, the ServiceNow Global Services team and our partners had the pleasure of working with a large bank headquartered in North America. Ranked among the top 10 largest banks in North America, they are a global financial institution offering a full range of personal, small business and commercial banking services.
Stuck with numerous legacy systems that were difficult and costly to maintain, the bank kicked off a strategic change program to replace and retire these systems — but their technology providers let them down. That's when they chose the ServiceNow platform, and chose to work with the team that knows ServiceNow better than anyone else to drive a successful deployment - ServiceNow Global Services alongside two of their key partners
Working together, ServiceNow established a long-term partnership with the bank, with the goal of jointly building and launching a wide range of services that leverage the entire ServiceNow cloud platform. Last month, ServiceNow and the bank took the first successful step on this journey — as the bank went live with ServiceNow Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Service Request.
By working with ServiceNow Global Services and its partners to deploy these initial applications, the bank was able to:
- Develop a complete program to realign their technology initiatives
- Go live in 6 months with their most critical processes, along with a comprehensive CMDB
- Lay the foundation for retiring multiple legacy solutions
- Train over 5,000 users in more than 250 classes — including hands-on system admin training
- Achieve a "very successful go-live event with no major incidents"
