Hi,
When updating our new risk appetite and tolerance on a parent risk statement, I have noticed that the existing child risk statements will not update with the parent's new appetite and tolerance.
I noticed that when I create new child risk statements, they take on the parent's new appetite/tolerance; however, the existing children do not update.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi phgdet,
Actually I found out that my issue was that the documentation seems to be wrong.
The button to copy down appetite to the downstream risk statement and risks it not in the "more actions icon." It is in the "related links" as a hyperlink.
Clicking this hyperlink "copy qualitative appetite and waiting a few minutes go my appetite to apply downstream.
Hope this helps anyone else trying to do this.

Hi tsturzl,
Have you checked the Business Rule Copy appetite yet? It requires to uncheck this override check box.

Hi phgdet,
I did check this, and they are all unchecked. I am wondering if this is a bug or a feature by ServiceNow. I noticed new risks I create have the appetite applied, but the existing risks do not.

Hi tsturzl,
There is a property in g_scratchpad enable the copy feature. You can find it in a BR named Create copy appetite scratchpad, it's updated through this field. Still wonder why does it named "Disable copy appetite" but actually activate it. But you can take a look and click on checkbox to test first.
