Hi Everyone,
We have a control that is Non-Compliant although there are no open issues and indicator tasks are compliant. What is the reason on this and how can we change it back to compliant?

Hi @jajay ,
You can "Attest" the control again by selecting "Return to Draft" Ui action on the control record (Make sure the attestation and Attestation respondents are selected) , perform the attestation, Review and send it to monitor state finally:

Hi @jajay
The Control Status is dependent on 3 factors Indicator task result, attestation result and control test result
1. So if the attestation was failed, control becomes non-compliant
2. If the indicator task failed, control becomes non-compliant.
In any case an issue is created. So you should check, if there is an issue still open.
Even if the last indicator task was passed, there could be an old indicator task, which was failed and its corresponding issue is still open, which is keeping the control non-compliant.
If while the indicators are failing, the attestation passes, the source of attestation fail will be removed but it will still be noncompliant while the indicator is taken care of.
3. If control effectiveness is ineffective then control becomes non-compliant
Also if an issue has been manually created regarding that control.
In your case verify if any exiting issue is pending for that control and if it is there then try to close open issue first and then execute indicator again.
