Creating new software dependency in BCM

I was attempting to create a new software dependency in a BIA, but wanted to search against the CMDB_SAM_SW_INSTALL table.  I can see the table as a choice, but I am not able to select it.  This used to work a couple of months ago.  Has anyone else encountered this issue, and is there a solution for it?

Hi @jhammond944 ,

You need to check couple of things here:

1. Navigate to Business Continuity> General Administration> Element Definitions and create a definition for the Table "Software Installation", like below:

2.  Navigate to Business Continuity> BIA Configuration> BIA Templates> Click New

Once you get the Template form, fill all the required Fields and choose the Definition you created in step 1 into "Primary Element Assessed" field:

3. Now you can create the BIA , you should be able to see the CMDB_SAM_SW_INSTALL table.
