Does anyone know if there is a way to have multiple contributors (respondents) to a single assessment instance?

While creating a risk assessment type and associating the entity, we'd like to have several contributors to ONE assessment instance to provide input collectively as a whole among a team .  Is this possible?

Hi, the closest is the solution from VRM for the tiering assessments where you can assign sections of the assessment instance to separate roles. AFAIK this is only enabled for those Vendor Risk Tiering Assessment for some reason.

If you want multiple people to go through the same questions, filling in the blanks, and writing over each others you can do it with some tweaks: people can change the "Assigned to" user after they have Saved their answers. So you can fairly easily define a life cycle for attestation where User1 clicks "finished with my part" and the "Assigned to" field changes to User2; until UserX can click "Completed". If you see below, I completed the questionnaire and saved (hence 100% complete), and my answers are stored in the assessment. Adam can now take the assessment and change my answers before "Submit".

You probably need a place at the Control level where you define who is user1, user2, and userX to be used for the attestations - and some others stuff like that but very little coding needed.
