Hi,
We build our entities and link them to entity types and assessment types to build Diagnostic in the Dev. Everything work fine in Dev and now we are trying to push it to Prod. We created an update set, making sure they are in the same Profile as the items (entities, assessment types, etc.) but only the assessment types, categories and metrics are recorded in the update set. When we update/create entities or entity types, nothing is recorded in the update set. Could anyone tell what we need to do?
Thank you,

Hi there,
That's correct for Entity and Entity Types. This is considered to be data and not automatically saved in an Update Set.
If you do want this, consider using the out-of-the-box option "Create application file".
When clicking "Actions on selected rows", select from the list "Create application file".
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your response. I have a follow up question. After I "Create application file", will changes to the entities/entity types automatically be recorded in Update Set? or I have "create application file" every time I make an update?
Thank you,

Like I mentioned, it's not automatically saved to the Update Set.
So you need to do this manually (every time).
