Hi Folks,
I have a quick question.
If a Metric Data Task in ServiceNow is still in "Waiting for Approval" status, is it possible to send it back to the assigned user so they can make a few changes before the approval is completed? I checked the available options on my side but couldn't find any option to edit, delete, or return the metric. I'm not sure if there are additional options available for Admin user that are not visible under my role.

Hi @Mohd_G ,
Metric Data Task extends the Task table, so all foundational Task capabilities are available here. For example, you can leverage the “assignment group” field (not displayed by default on the form) and configure access controls so that the assignment group manager has the ability to send the task back in the workflow (e.g., via a UI action exposed to role that only managers are expected to have - e.g. risk manager).
While the specific feature you’re asking about is not available out of the box for Metric Data Task, these underlying capabilities provide what’s needed. With some minor configuration in the workflow, you should be able to meet this requirement.
