Factor without any value/input impacting calculation of inherent ALE in Risk Assessment

Hello experts,

I have defined a Risk Assessment Methodology with multiple Group Factors and each group factor has more than 1 manual factor in it. Currently none of these factors are mandatory.

While assessing the risk, user is able to leave some of the factors empty since they are non-mandatory. Inherent ALE computation is failing due to factors that don't have any value/manual input from user. If we have any group factor without any input then inherent ALE does not get calculated. 'Quantitative Response' of that group factor would be empty in Risk Assessment Instance Response '[sn_risk_advanced_risk_assessment_instance_response] table record. But if I enter any value like 0 (zero) & click on 'Save & Calculate' button then 'Computed inherent ALE' field on 'Risk Assessment' form get populated automatically with a correct calculation.

I could not find any option to set default value for a manual factor. I see same issue even in my OOB personal developer instance. I have raised ServiceNow HI ticket for the same but I have not received any response from ServiceNow yet.

Please let me know if anyone of you resolved similar kind of issue. I will really appreciate if you could provide inputs that would help me in resolving this issue.

Thanks,

Abhinandan

This issue was resolved by making Group factors non-mandatory that have non-mandatory Manual factors. I made only those group factors mandatory that have mandatory manual factors.

By default we don't have 'Mandatory Response' field on Group factor form. Updated this field from list layout of Group factor table.

Thanks Sandeep for the response! Unfortunately none of these articles answered my question

I can fix this OOB issue by configuring custom BR on 'Risk Assessment Instance Response' table and updating the factor responses with some value like zero if they are empty. But I am looking for better solution instead of doing customization.
