When we setup the primary contact for a new vendor, an registration email will be sent to the primary contact with the username and temp password. Vendor has to change the password after logging into vendor portal so that he can take the assessments assigned to his company. Now we have two issues.
1. When the primary contact forgets the password, he has no way of resetting the password on his own as the forgot password doesn't show up on the vendor portal login screen
2. When the primary contact is unavailable for any reason, can we make the other individual from vendor org as a primary contact so that he can submit/assign the assessment.
Please let us know possibilities of addressing the above two?
Note: We already have the self service password reset plugin enabled which only adding the forgot password reset link on the native UI login page, but not on service Portal login.

Rohit

I cannot tell by your answer - but the only people that can access assessments are people that are identified as Primary Contacts. Then the Primary Contact can add others to specific questionnaires. Until that assignment is made, people that are not identified as Primary Contacts cannot edit a questionnaire.
Also note that once a questionnaire has been submitted by to the requesting company (unless it has been returned to the vendor by that company - which is an option in Madrid) the vendor cannot edit the questionnaire.

There can be as many primary contacts as you need for Vendor. It is not restricted to be a single one.
I need to investigate the options on your first question - if anyone has specific experience with this, please add your experiences.

Thank you Jan for the quick response.
In our case, we create the secondary contact only when the primary contact is not available. This not letting the newly created contact to access the already published assessments.

Hi Rohit,
I have checked instances in both London and Madrid, and both the instances have a "I forgot my password" link under the login box in the Vendor portal login page, which leads to /$pwd_reset.do?sysparm_url=ss_default
Are you on a previous version or could there be any customizations affecting this?
