How metric data task flow works?
Linear stages New->In progress->Awaiting approval->closed

To whom approval is send? what could be the reason of  not sending the approval?

In ServiceNow, a metric data task flow helps track task statuses over time (like a linear progression through statuses). For your flow:

Stages in Metric Data Task Flow

  1. New:

    • A task or request is created and awaits processing.
  2. In Progress:

    • Work is actively being done on the task.
  3. Awaiting Approval:

    • The task requires approval to move forward (e.g., from a manager or stakeholder).
  4. Closed:

    • The task has been completed or resolved.

Hi @Tejas9 ,

Can you please attach some sceenshots of your issue. Also , provide more context on what metric data you are referring , where it is being used?

 

I missed to select approver in metric definition form So the stage was not going to Awaiting approval stage.
