Is It Possible to Test GRC Modules Using ServiceNow Developer Instance?

Hello,

I am currently trying to explore and test the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules using a ServiceNow developer instance. I have created an instance with the Washington release but I'm unable to locate and activate the GRC plugins/modules.

Here are the steps I have taken so far:

  • Created a new instance through the ServiceNow Developer site.
  • Navigated to the App Engine Studio but did not find the GRC modules.
  • Attempted to activate plugins here <https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/home> but did not see the GRC plugins listed.

Additionally, I have an existing ServiceNow license.

Is it possible to deploy and test the GRC modules using a ServiceNow developer instance? If so, could you please guide me on the correct process to achieve this? Are there any specific steps or prerequisites or license I need to follow?

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @mauriciosal,

1. Open your Personal Developer Instance and navigate to Application Manager, as per following screenshot:

2. Search 'grc' or check the GRC box to locate the relevant modules, as per screenshot:

3. Select and install the modules you want to test.

I hope that helps.
