Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that the lifecycle step transitions for issue records don’t appear as UI actions in the Compliance Workspace. It seems like this might be a missing feature or something that hasn’t been fully rolled out yet.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an official confirmation from ServiceNow on whether this functionality is planned for a future release?
In the meantime, I’m considering adding custom UI actions to enable manual transitions, but I want to keep the customization minimal so we can revert to OOTB functionality if an update addresses this. Would that be the best approach, or is there another recommended way to handle lifecycle transitions in Compliance Workspace?

Hi Wae,
yes, that's by default unfortunately. Lot of customers have noticed/asked about this.
I think your approach would work, and shouldn't be too hard to roll back if/when the ootb functionality catches up.

That's expected OOTB behavior.
In one of my implementations , i had to create a custom UI action.
About future roadmaps, it's not yet shared by ServiceNow as of now.
