I asked our consultant about the Risk Portal within ServiceNow GRC. I thought this looked like a good tool for customer engagement but my consultant was a little reluctant to use it.

Does anyone have any experience in using it and the benefit you get against the standard tool approach?

As in what is the challenge they are facing ?

The justification was, that it is new, they had not even seen it before. So it was recommended not to use it.

The answer I was looking to get was, ok, that is not something I have used before but let me look into it and get back to you...

Not overly impressed.

Had a look and can see no reason why we shouldnt be using the Risk Portal for our users. Thanks for your speedy response.
