Smart assessment error message

Hi,
So I have created a Smart assessment template from assessment workspace with multiple sections and questions with scoring.
I want to create error message on the assessment while the user is answering the assessment before submitting the assessment.

I want multiple scenarios to be considered here:

For example.
1. if question 1 has options abc, def and ghij
user chooses abc then i want a error message to pop up "error message: this is a error" above that question.

2. if user has answered any specific question, lets say question 4 or question from a particular section , I want the submit button  to be disabled and not let the user finish the assessment and throw them a error message "error message: question 4 error".

I have looked both in native and UI builder but couldn't find anything that might help me achieve these requirements.

Based on what I found, unfortunately the Smart Assessment Engine in ServiceNow currently does not support showing inline error messages or disabling the submit button dynamically at the question level while the assessment is being answered, the built in functionality focuses on section and question visibility or read only logic, but not custom validation pop ups or submit button blocking as you describe.....
