I'm trying to figure out how the First run date and Next run date is being filled in the GRC Indicator (sn_grc_indicator).
The First run date should've been set as the same date as when the first indicator task was created but as seen in the screenshot, the date was set to a 'future date' than it should've been.
The Next run date is also being set the next day instead of daily.

Hi @PreciousP ,
Let's understand what does the two terms actually means :
First run date | First collection time for indicator results. This field is automatically set based on when an indicator or an indicator template runs for the first time. The value in this field can't be modified. |
Next run date |
Next run time to collect indicator results of all downstream indicators for this indicator template.
|
So, while setting up the indicator template, usually first run date doesn't populates, what you will need to focus is on the next run date. Then based on the next run date, when the indicator runs, it will show up the first run date, since it's read only field, you cannot modify it, it will pick up as per the next run date.
Finally, the scheduled job called "GRC indicator nightly run" will runs everyday and it will sync with the schedule you mentioned in the template and all dates will be aligned.
