How to start learning ServiceNow ITSM as a beginner?

Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to ServiceNow and have a basic understanding of things like Business Rules, Script Includes, Server and Client Side Scripts, UI Policies, and Data Policies etc.. I’d now like to move into learning ITSM in a more practical, hands-on way, but I’m not sure where to begin.

Which ITSM modules would you recommend starting with? Also, if there are any free resources or environments I can use to practice, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Bhavya

Hi @Bhavya_

If you want to start learning ITSM, then it is recommended to start with "incident management", "change management", "problem management", and "catalogs".
Best Place is "Now Learning" : ServiceNow ITSM Fundamentals on Demand (Xanadu) - ServiceNow University

It is also advisable to request a PDI for thorough practice.

You can request a PDI through the official ServiceNow Developer Site: Home | ServiceNow Developers

Guide: Guides | ServiceNow Developers To understand more about "PDI".
