Asset Reclamation and Asset Bundles

Hi all,

Asset Reclamation (a feature in HAM Pro) is used to collect Assets and/or Consumables in case the user of these Assets does not need them anymore or is leaving the company. This works fine for Assets and Consumables but what about Asset Reclamation for Asset Bundles?

Some questions here:

Can Asset Reclamation be used for Asset Bundles?

What happens with the Asset Bundles when the Assets and/or Consumables in that Bundle are reclaimed? Is the bundle automatically retired?

What happens with the Asset Bundle in case an Asset or Consumable is reclaimed as the Asset Bundle becomes incomplete?

Does anyone has experience with this?? Are there best practices to share here?

Sure I have tried the Asset Reclamation flow: Reclamation of a Computer works fine. When I select an Asset Bundle in the Asset Reclamation catalog item and submit it, the Asset Reclamation Request is created but no Hardware Asset Reclamation Line(s) are created.
Expectation is that or 1 HARL is created for the bundled Asset and while processing the tasks the items in that bundle are reclaimed or (preferable) that for each item in the bundle an HARL is created so each item can be reclaimed individually.

At least in my case this is not working. I also can not find any description of Asset Bundle reclamations. Looking forward to your response/ test results.

Just tested a bundle, and agree no lines are created, and I looked at the flow, it seems to skip - the "create line" - so I assume, that ServiceNow  - think, if you work with bundles, which seems not to be enterprise assets, then modify the flow 🤔
