Assign Assets to Location (cubes) only

Our company assigns assets to individuals when they are teleworking and to cubes when they are in-office. When users are in office, they may move from one cube to the other and the equipment will stay in the cube, this is why we assign assets to cubes only (not to the person). 

HAM out of the box workflows only allow us to assign assets to a person. We recently uploaded floor maps to take advantage of indoor mapping functionality. However with this function, we can only assign assets to cubes during the initial upload of the floor map. 

If the assets need to be moved, or individually assigned, the HAM workflow will automatically assign it to the person making the request. We need to assign it to the cube only. 

Has anyone been able to automatically assign assets to a location only? If so, how did you achieve that?

assets have location associated field utilise that for cubicle update.

Assign asset to person only along with cubicle.

if person move from one to another just change the assignment not cubicles.

cubicle change should happen through intra transfer request and if building change for asset then do inter transfer because in this case you will be requiring gate pass as well.
