Can we enable barcode scanning feature for service catalog ?
I have a requirement where team will scan the new assets. Asset management team is responsible for updating the alm_asset. Can we achieve this using Service catalog ?
Using the ServiceNow Agent app(Apple App Store or Google Play Store) you can scan an asset's serial number or asset tag. If no existing asset if found you can then select "Create Asset" on the app. You will then need to add additional information such as Asset Tag, Model, Stockroom and give it a State(such as 'in stock' or 'in use').
