Hardware models in ServiceNow are being duplicated based on BIOS versions, resulting in unnecessary model variations.
Instead of managing around 10 actual hardware models, we now have 100+ model records. This is causing cost mismatches, incorrect reporting, and unnecessary complexity for the operations team. Managing assets with and without cost differences has become confusing and inefficient.
