How to validate if we are getting content updates on a weekly basis for our hardware models?

Hello Experts!

We have not opt in to servicenow content service yet and would like to validate if our hardware models are getting content updates on a weekly basis or they are being updated at all without opting in?

Thank you in advance!

In the hardware asset workspace, the model management page has a widget named 'Days until next hardware content refresh' that shows the Number of days after which the next hardware content refresh will be performed by Hardware Asset Management. This can be useful for the validation about content updates happening. Following is the docs URL about the model management view in the workspace:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-it-asset-management/page/product/hardware-asset-management/c...

If you have the legacy Hardware Asset dashboard, the Hardware Model Content Service Download widget on the model management tab indicates the days since the content service library was last downloaded on your instance and the days remaining for the next download to take place. Following is the URL about this dashboard:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-it-asset-management/page/use/dashboards/application-content-...

Hi Ashok,

Thank you for your response. The solution you provided is valid but it is not going to help us.

Unfortunately content service download didn't happen on our instances since last 217 days. This is a bug found by ServiceNow and they are trying to fix it in their next release.

Thank you!

Good Evening--

We are experiencing the same issue only our days since last content download is 44.  We are on the latest Tokyo Security Patch 9b.  When you referenced this was a bug looking to be fixed in the next release, can you share where you found this information and what version the "next release" you reference is?

Thank you
