If an organization gets you to streamline their HAM process, what would be your 30-60-90 day goals?

They have gone live with ITSM and ITOM but are not very happy with ITAM implementation. They have HAM but not HAM PRO. They need to be advised if its worth investing in HAM Pro. Also, please bear in mind they have already invested in SAM Pro.

 

What would be your 30-60-90 day goals??

This is similar to the question "How long is a piece of string".
The first rule of process deployments on ServiceNow is that they are process FIRST.
ServiceNow provides great tooling for the process, but shouldn't be a substitute for process design and ownership at the customer.

So if someone told me they're unhappy with ITAM, I'd ask what business objectives aren't being met.
(And with anything asset management related, there should be plenty, as Asset Management is really a bunch of sub-processes roled up into one).

Can't establish goals if problem isn't defined.

I agree with Robert here. You need to go to the business to hear what they aren't happy with and how you can make ServiceNow comply to what they are expecting. We don't know the company you are working for, but they are paying you to ask the questions so they can answer you. And those answers will be unique to the company, because it's different everywhere. 

You need to talk with the stakeholders, find out what it is they need and what they are expecting (like with any implementation). The only upside you have is that they already saw something and they aren't happy with that, so you need to ask them what HAM doesn't provide and then check if HAM Pro does have that. You are the expert they are looking at to advise them.
