Anyone have a good explanation for why the life cycle for assets created from an ASN is set to Deploy-In Transit? That means purchased assets go from Purchase to Deploy, then back to Inventory when they are received.
- It doesn't confirm to the Deploy life cycle stage definition of purpose: "The asset is prepared and moved to operational use"
- All the other Deploy statuses are assets I already possess
- Deploy-In Transit assets are a mix of assets I already own with assets that I typically don't
It would make sense to add In Transit to the statuses available in the Purchase Life Cycle stage. (Also adding it to Inventory stage would account for situations where title passes when the product ships.)
