We have a use case where our org is very decentralized, with users who have asset management roles and can manage their own assets.
We are currently using all Computer/Desktop/Laptop model categories, but we'd like to get more granular. Including possibly using Computer as the parent model category and using Desktop and Laptop underneath this.
I'm curious what folks in the community are doing with their model categories. Is it advantageous at all to keep Computer at the parent level, but no be a selectable choice? Should we remove it altogether?
Does it have any impact on integrations like Jamf and Intune SGCs?
