Model number is empty in hardware models tables , populated in CI record

Hello

Could you please help me on this topic , i'm using agent client collector to discover laptops.

the discovered CI are populated with model numbers. 

but when I check in Hardware models , the model number in General tab is empty and that impact normalization

 

please how to resolve this issue ?

Hi Nabil,
Go to Normalization Definitions under Hardware Asset Management and verify that there are definitions for the discovered model numbers. If the model numbers are not recognized, create or update normalization definitions to include these model numbers.

For the Correct Hardware Model Entries: Go to Hardware Models alm_hardware.LIST .Manually check if the model numbers are missing in the records. If needed, manually enter the model numbers or use a script to populate these fields.
