My Instances

I am having difficulty in accessing my instance, I am doing my CSA studies from the e-book after i have completed the fundamentals in the study panel, whuch includes lab procedure with an instance, but I dont know where to see my instance, I have not receive any email about my instance and i have looked around I could not see where to access it.

if you took any course/training at the SN University but these are available for limited period of time (units of days if not manually prolongued) and not accessible from a single point.

To get your PDI, go to Dev portal to request one: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance 

it can be used for the Learning Plans at the Developer Portal

If you are referring to the CSA Fundamentals training, the lab instance is normally provided through the course/lab environment rather than being sent as a separate email.

If you have completed the Fundamentals content but cannot see or access the instance, check the course’s Lab/Lab Instance section and look for an option such as Start Lab, Launch Instance, or Request Instance.

If there is no instance option at all, it may be a course-access issue. I would recommend checking your ServiceNow Learning profile and the course enrollment first, and then contacting ServiceNow Learning Support if the lab is included in your course but no instance is provisioned

you can use PDI for trainning . PDI aslo have Dummy data

How to get your PDI

1. Go to the official ServiceNow Developer site:
   ServiceNow Developer Site
2. Sign in using your ServiceNow account.
3. After signing in, look at the top/header area for Request Instance. ServiceNow's current PDI guide confirms that this is where you request a new instance.
4. Click Request Instance.
5. Select an available ServiceNow release and click Request.
6. Once the PDI is provisioned, you will get the instance URL and admin credentials. You can then click Start Building to open your instance.

Your lab instance is accessible through your course .

You can also request for PDI for practice .

CSA Fundamentals labs are not a Personal Developer Instance, and they usually do not arrive as a separate email. Open the course in ServiceNow University, go into the lab / “Start lab” / “Launch instance” section for that module, and start it from there. Those lab instances are short-lived and only live inside the course.

If that control is missing, it is an enrollment or lab-access issue. Check that you are in the right offering and then open a ticket with ServiceNow Learning Support rather than hunting for an instance URL.

For extra practice outside the official labs, request a free PDI: sign in at developer.servicenow.com, open Manage instance / Request instance, pick a release, and wait for the URL plus admin credentials. That PDI is your sandbox. It is not the same box the e-book labs expect, but it is enough to work through most CSA exercises.
