Hello
I have a question about backing up the ServiceNow PDI to GitHub.
I'm currently working through the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Implementer course and am in the process of setting up a 'mock' company within a developer PDI. What I would like to do is to be able to back up the Asset Management Workspace (with all it's associated files and tables) with customized additions I am creating (such as employee records, new assets, stock locations, contracts, etc.)
I already have a GitHub account, set up a repository, and have the PDI linked to the source control.
I tried a backup earlier but received this error: An App Customization already exists for this application, install it to make customizations to your application.
It appears that some of these tables are global scope. I have looked through quite a number of forum posts, documentation articles, and videos. But keep coming to roadblocks.
Is there a more efficient way of going about this? Do I need to back up 'several' components one at a time?
Thanks for your time...
